Gov. Sani Bello of Niger has approved the appointment of Malam Ibrahim Ladan as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday in Minna by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Jonathan Vatsa.
Vatsa said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Vatsa said the governor thanked the former Ladan’s predecessor, Alhaji Shehu Danyaya, for the services rendered and wished him well in his future endeavor.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that no reason was given for the sudden replacement of the former SSG.
Ladan, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress hails from Borgu Local Government Area of Niger. (NAN)
