Nigeria at 56: Osinbajo calls for hope and expectation

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has described this this year’s independence anniversary of Nigeria as a time for a lot of hope and expectations.

Professor Yomi Osinbajo has the country has come this far as a unified nation, therefore all hands must be on desk to move the country forward.

The Vice President who spoke briefly with State House reporters after a low-key independence celebration held at the forecourt of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja expressed that the country will overcome its current predicaments.

Osinbajo assured that in few years, Nigerians will begin to see the real change they voted for.

He said: “I think it is a time for a lot of hope and expectation. I think that in the next few years, we will demonstrate the real capacity of our country in everywhere. We will prevail.”

While also speaking to newsmen, the minister of information, culture and tourism, Lai Muhammed urged Nigerians to be confident about the administration and have believe in Nigeria.
