Nigerian Footballer Dies During Training

A Nigerian footballer has been reported dead.

The footballer identified as Michael Umanyika was reported to have died while training with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zagatala PFK.

Micheal, just before his death was reported to have visited Nigeria on holiday.

Goal.com reported that the 20-year-old Nigerian footballer who played the midfield position suddenly stopped and fell during training.

The deceased footballer joined the Azerbaijani side in 2015 and has made a total of 20 appearances for the team.
