Nigerian Henry Onyekuru Snubs Arsenal, Joins Everton for £7m

Nigerian striker, Victor Onyekuru has signed a five-year deal with English Premier League tea, Everton.

 

Victor Onyekuru was in excellent form for KAS Eupen in Belgium’s Super League last season, scoring 23 goals.

 

 

He would join the league of  Nigerians to have featured for the club after Joseph Yobo, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Victor Anichebe, Hope Akpan, and Daniel Amokachi played for the team.

 

“I feel very happy and delighted with this move to Everton,” Onyekuru told Everton TV.

 

He was signed for £7m, and will  complete his move on Friday after passing medicals.

 

The Nigerian will be sent out on loan to Belgian Champions Anderlecht for the 2017/18 season.

 

This will be Everton’s  third signing with deals for Ajax midfielder, Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford already settled.
