The Nigerian Dream Team has failed to further its winning streak as the team was defeated 2-0 after 90 minutes of game time at the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo against Columbia.
Both goals from the South American side were scored by Gutierrez and Pabon respectively securing the side the much desired three points.
The Nigerian team was also left to play with 10 men as Oghenekaro Etebo suffered an injury which discontinued his play eight minutes before the final whistle was blown.
Etebo’s condition ahead of the quarter final game is however unknown.
