A Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi otherwise known by fans as Sauce kid has finally secured his release from prison after serving a two-year sentence.

He was arrested and found guilty of stealing $15,388 for credit card fraud.

The US-Based Nigerian rapper was accused of using stolen bank card numbers to manufacture plastic cards which he then used for purchases after using an automated system to change account PIN between July 23 and 26 in 2016 in court documents.

He was initially in a lot of trouble when he was charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, eight counts each of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, and possession of 15 or more fraudulent bank cards, all of which would have led to a much longer sentence, but to reduce his sentence pleaded guilty to one of the counts of aggravated identity theft which led to the opposition reducing his charge by calling off the rest of the charges.

A video of the rapper has shown up online and he looks hale, hearty and ready to rejoin society.
