Nigerian Society of Engineers Reward Best JAMB Students with N16 Million

In an era when entertainers and sports stars are more rewarded than Academicians, the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), have decided to change the narrative by rewarding the top 16 students with the highest scores in the last Joint Administrations and Matriculations Board (JAMB) exam with an interest in studying engineering in the University.

The overall best student with the highest JAMB score Egoagwuagwu Agnes Maduafokwa with 365 alongside 15 others were presented with  N1 million each by the NSE in order to boost their morale on the importance of education.

The cash prizes were presented by the President of the society of Engineers, Engr. Babagana Mohammed FNSE on Tuesday while presenting the academic high flyers to the public.

The NSE follows in the footsteps of Afe Bbabalola University which also presents cash rewards to its best graduating students in Medicine and Law.
