Divine Oduduru, Nigeria’s sprinter at the Olympics has reportedly earned a place in the Texas Tech University, TTU on scholarship.
The Nigerian athlete who was made famous not only for his athletic prowess but his “I never espererrit!” line after the completion of a race was welcomed to the university through the institution’s official social media page.
Recall that Oduduru represented Nigeria at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games where he finished closely behind Usain Bolt in the 200m Heat recording a personal best of 20.28sec.
Also congratulating the athlete was the Athletics Africa via its Twitter handle.
