Nigerian teen arrested for imprisoning his professor in the U.S

An American teenager of Nigerian heritage has been arrested for supposedly imprisoning his professor in her office in a bid to get her allow him take a make up exam.

The teen by the name Jude Chiedu Akachukwu, was reported to have walked into a professor’s office without being invited, closed the door, blocked the doorway, threatening that the professor won’t leave the office until she agreed to allow him to make up an exam, was arrested on Tuesday, online sources report.

It was gathered that the 19-year-old college student imprisoned the Santa Fe College professor against her will, and also grabbed her arm as she tried to walk away.

The professor said she would call the police, and Akachukwu threw himself on the floor crying. The professor left her office and went to a nearby classroom to teach. Akachukwu followed and began to disrupt the class. Akachukwu was charged with false imprisonment, battery and disturbing the peace. He was being held Wednesday in Alachua County jail.
