Nigerian Wrestler Makes WWE Debut

American Professional Wrestler, Sesugh Uhaa, who was officially announced as part of a new class of NXT recruits in April last year has made his first appearance on the May 6 episode of NXT.

The American Professional wrestler is of Nigerian Descent in Benue State and goes by the State name Apollo Crews.

NXT is a name giving to the periodic specials produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

The Nigerian-American wrestler who is now 28 years old stated his career in 2009, then he was working under the ring name ‘Uhaa Nation’.

In 2011, he was signed by Dragon Gate USA promotion and in 2015, Uhaa penned a contract with WWE where he was assigned to its developmental brand NXT, there he earned his ring name, Apollo Crews.

Uhaa was on April 4, 2016 promoted to WWE’s main roaster on Raw after his victory over Tyler Breeze.

Following the promotion, Crews entered a feud with The Social Outcasts where he defeated each member of the stable.
