An aide to President Buhari, Garba Shehu has been severely bashed on social media after making comments defending Buhari’s hiring policy.
The President has come under fire for what is presumed to be some sort of bias on his part for giving juicy political appointments to people from the North.
Things were especially bad when NNPC Group Managing Director, Ibe Kachikwu was replaced by Ibrahim Baru.
Garba went on Twitter and tweeted; ‘Since he assumed office, President Buhari has treated all without bias for ethnicity and religion’
Many Nigerians disagreed with him and they subsequently took him on.
