The presidential candidate of the National Interest Party, Eunice Atuejide, has come under fire for posting a video of burnt currency notes she claimed was owned by National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The 40-year-old politician had taken to her Twitter handle on Saturday evening to share the video.

She tagged the 30-second video: The latest gist in town is that Jagaban Asiwaju Tinubu i.e. Tinubu’s money for electioneering bribe burnt up due to storage challenges in Boudillon. It’s looking more like all the forces are against APC keeping Lagos. It’s going to be a big time things on Saturday.

Ogundamisi tweeted:

Instead of apologising and deleting the video, Atuejide tweeted: “Thanks for the clarification. The gist was just so juicy I had to carry it. But I will publish this version immediately to correct the earlier one. Cheers man.”
