Nigerians fearlessly call Ex-Gov Orji Uzor Kalu “Thief” following his conviction

Following the verdict of a Federal high court sentencing the former Governor of Abia state , Orji Uzor Kalu to 12 years imprisonment over fraud allegations going up to N7 billion, Nigerians have taken to the streets of Twitter to call the Ex-Governor a thief without fear of recrimination.

Celebrities have also reacted differently to this news. While some applaud the verdict of the court, others believe the Ex-Governor will appeal the judgement, thereby upturning his conviction

Since 1999 till date Abia state has been governed by swindlers, charlatans and treasury looters. The admin of Orji Uzor Kalu and T. A Orji were riddled with corruption, outright thievery, maladministration, mismanagement and poor infrastructure
