The Caretaker Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP probably thought he was being gracious when he took to social media to ask people to stop criticizing the government and instead discuss alternatives.
It seems however that Nigerians weren’t in the mood for that as they roundly turned on him and blasted the PDP for their perceived ineffectiveness over the last 16 years.
One commenter said “Kai, see who is talking. When you guys spend 16yrs in power what and what did u do in Nigeria? If not selling yam.”
Makarfi has been in a brutal tug-of-war over the leadership of the PDP with Ali Modu Sheriff. It is a battle that both parties now seem willing to bring peace to.
