Nigerians didn't elect you to complain about ex-leaders

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) says insecurity is escalating in Nigeria because of the Muhammadu Buhari administration’s negligence and incompetence.

President of CAN, Rev. Samson Ayokunle stated this on Tuesday at the Holy Convocation organised by the Victory Life Bible Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Ayokunle, who spoke on the theme ‘The state of the nation: The way forward’, said that the Buhari government has also been religiously biased.

He said that criminal elements were proving more professional than the security agencies, describing the trend as disturbing.

Berating the Buhari administration resort to blame game, the CAN President said, “We put you there to secure the nation; we didn’t put you there to be complaining about bad leaders.

“The criminals are behaving more professional than the regular law enforcement agents. You were complaining about past leaders; we knew that the past leaders didn’t do well and we approach you to make change.”
