Nigerians React To Fayose’s Threat To Dump PDP

The threat by outgoing Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is reverberating across Nigeria already.

Fayose had threatened to quit the party over its decision to hold its National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State over the weekend.

But many commentators, who took to social media to react, described the threat as “empty” and a ploy to attract attention from leaders of the party and blackmail them into handing him the Vice Presidenctial ticket.
