Nigeria’s collapsed due to APC govt’s bad leadership – Wike

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike says “Nigeria has collapsed”.

He stated this in a post on his official Facebook page on Wednesday morning following reports of killings and kidnappings across the country.

A report by The Punch disclosed that no fewer than 21 persons were killed across the nation on Tuesday.

Recall that Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello on Monday night declared that Boko Haram had overran some communities and hoisted its flag in Shiroro local government area of the state.

Corrobating the governor’s statement, Senator Sani Musa (APC – Niger) said, “About 42 communities across the two local government areas of Shiroro and Munya have so far fallen under the Boko Haram control with about 5,000 villagers already displaced in the last three days.

“They have kidnapped many and their wives seized from them and forcefully attached to Boko Haram members.

“Three military camps in Allawa, Bassa and Zagzaga in the two local government areas have been sacked and some security personnel killed by the insurgents in the last one month of renewed attacks,” Niger State se

In a tensed plenary on Tuesday, the Senate decried worsening insecurity, with Kogi West senator, Smart Adeyemi declaring that the country was more unstable now than during the Nigerian Civil War.

In an apparent reaction to the state of insecurity, Wike blamed the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration.

“Nigeria has collapsed due to the  All Progressives Congress – APC government’s bad leadership.

“Unfortunately, the effect of bad leadership does not select party members or those that foisted the bad leadership on us, it affects everyone irrespective of political leaning,” Wike said.
