Nigeria’s richest woman pledges to donate N1bn to fight coronavirus

Billionaire Businesswoman Folorunsho Alakija has pledged for a donation of N1 billion for the fight against coronavirus.

Alakija on Monday, March 30, made the pledge in a statement issued through her verified Twitter handle.

She commended the efforts made by the federal and state governments, private sectors and individuals towards the fight against disease in Nigeria.
