The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, says Nigeria is under a witchcraft spell and national bewitchment.

According to the popular cleric, Nigerians have taken to “suffering and smiling” as a coping mechanism for the abnormalities that daily surface in the nation.

Enenche stated this while leading a prayer for Nigeria at the international headquarters of the church in Abuja, Vanguard reported.

The cleric said that the situation has got so pathetic that “even a blind man knows that something is wrong”.

He said that in their bid to control Nigeria’s political space at all cost, wicked political leaders have invoked demonic spirits that are now troubling the nation.

Enenche said that many Nigerians have been bound by the spells and therefore keep defending their oppressors.

“People in high places of authority can go to any length. They can rent herbalists and put them in aircraft and move around the air to cast spell on the whole nation so that when it’s time to vote people will not know what they are voting.

“People will be campaigning for almost demons and will want to kill themselves for a person who doesn’t care for them,” he stated.

The cleric stated that Nigeria’s future has been mortgaged by the same wicked leaders such that even generations yet unborn will bear the consequences.

He said it was worrisome that many Nigerians saw nothing wrong in what was being done to the nation.

Lamenting the nation’s debt burden, Enenche said that the incumbent administration was leaving the country worse than it met it but has kept praising itself.

“It’s a blatant failure. That you left something worse than you met it. Is that success? If you know how much Nigeria is owing, you will know nothing is left,” he said.

He prayed to God to break the evil spells cast on Nigerians that keep them in a constant state of suffering without complaining.

Enenche urged fellow Christians to join in praying for the expiration of such spells.
