The Nigerian Labour Congress true to its stand has commenced its nationwide strike with a kick off in Abuja.

The NLC members led by the Chairman of the group, Comrade Ayuba Philibus Wabba have staged a protest with rallied support from members.

The Protest is aimed at registering the stand of the union against the new increased fuel pump price handed down by the Federal Government last week.

Protesters have gathered in numbers in their uniforms and with flags to register their dissatisfaction at the new development.

Recall that the NLC threatened to embark on the strike for as long as it takes for the Federal Government to retract and revert the fuel price increment.
