Nollywood actress, Joy Anyim, is in custody and standing trial at Uyo Magistrate Court for an alleged case of theft.
She was arraigned on the 7th of October, 2016, for stealing the sum of N460,000 from a friend of hers identified as Mr Christopher Ibok.
According to Gistmania, an online platform, it exclusively revealed more details on the story.

“This is an unbelievable, and shocking story bearing in mind the life of opulence, and stupendous affluence joy exhibited when all was rosy, and she had untethered access to the massive wealth of her husband’s family.
“The Enugu born actress, was renowned for renting hotels, guest houses and even clubs to fulfil her erotic desires, Uranus hotel Entry point hotel, ss well as Uncle G Resort were some of the many establishement she spent her millionaire extravagant and flirtatious parties, hideout for her Nollywood lovers, as well as other frivolous outings.”
“All these seem like ages now as we have been reliably informed, that the party loving actress is now living in hiding as she is currently been hounded by her creditors all over town which include: her former car mechanic, cosmetic supplier, clothe supplier, and her popular eateries.
“Her friends who spoke with conditions of anonymity expressed shock on how quickly the lovers who helped ruin her first two marriages have abandoned her. Even her recent benefactor, cum lover a prominent Alhaji at Uyo Abattoir, have since fled town for fear of been roped into various issues. Joy is remanded in prison until she meets her bail conditions of N500,000.
The case has been adjourned till 13th of October, 2016.
