Despite the bad blood flowing between President Buhari’s wife, Aisha and the Dauras’, the Daura Kinsmen have said no one can come between the President and his Uncle, Mallam Mamman Daura.
Mamman Daura’s younger brother, Usman Daura disclosed this in an interview with newsmen from Sunday Punch.
Speaking at the Shaishakowa Quarters in Daura, Katsina state, where the Daura family house is located, Usman said it is too late for anyone to separate President Buhari and Daura as their friendship and fondness for each other began a long time ago. Hence, the bond is too strong to be broken.
According to Usman who spoke to newsmen, “Mallam Daura and President Muhammadu Buhari have come a long way right from their youth. Even when President Buhari was the military Head of State in Lagos, they were together. Nobody can separate them.”

Usman in a bid to prove the closeness of the duo, disclosed that President Buhari built his house beside Mamman Daura’s house in their hometown.
“If you go to the GRA (Government Reserved Area), where Mallam Mamman has his house in Daura, you will see that his building is next to that of President Buhari. That is how they have been all along. He built his house at GRA even before our father’s death. Our father died on October 3, 1993.”
Recall, Aisha Buhari confirmed She was the one in the leaked video which captured the moment she was shouting in the Glass House Quarters of the Aso Villa, in a BBC interview. She also disclosed how Fatima Daura recorded the video while security operatives did nothing because she was Mamman Daura’s Daughter.
