Bishop Wale Oke, who is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Sword of the Spirit Ministies located in Ibadan has refuted the allegations levelled against Vice President Yemi Osinbajo labelling him as corrupt. Bishop Oke says the corruption allegations are false as the cabals are doing everything within their power to bring down the Vice President.
According to Punch, Bishop Oke made this known while he was paid a visit by the National Association of Women Journalists at the Agodi area of Ibadan where his church Covenant Arena is located. The delegation of women Journalist was led by Jadesola Ajibola.
The Bishop said a group of Church elders visited the Vice President after the news of the N90 billion scam went viral and that was when Osinbaio told them (the church elders) that the alleged cabals were the ones behind the corruption allegations, to tarnish his image.
Oke said, “The VP did not only deny involving himself in any sleaze, but used the opportunity to inform us that some cabals were behind the allegations.”
“The VP is always reaching out to Christian leaders on the need to support Buhari. Osinbajo is loyal to a fault.
“So, those plotting his downfall through orchestrated campaigns should fear God. This man is not corrupt. He has been a friend for many years,” he added.
