Ekweme Brown Ike popularly known as Lucifer was a notorious Kidnapper responsible for a myriad of kidnappings and death in Rivers state but the Kidnapper has met his Waterloo after a gun battle with policemen.
Nigeria Police Force, Rivers state command has announced the death of Lucifer whose real name is Ekweme Ike, an indigene of Egamini Runsewe, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state.

- The notorious Kidnapper died during a gun battle with men of the Operation STING. Operation STING which led to the death of the notorious Kidnapper was overseen by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Rivers state, Shem Evans.
Lucifer made it to the Most wanted list of the Rivers state command because of the lead role he played in stealing, kidnapping and hijacking of commercial buses on the Ndele axis of the East West road.

The whole community of Egamini Rundele was seen jubilating wildly after Lucifer’s death was announced. They will no longer be terrorized by him, as they are now free to go about their normal lives without fear of being harassed or kidnapped.
