Manchester United player, Antonio Valencia, who allegedly slept with a nurse, has split from his wife of many years, Zoila Meneses.
It was reported that the footballer had met with the brunette during the weekend his team lost to rivals city.
The woman and Antonio, had been exchanging flirty messages until they met and had an affair which was made public.
She revealed she struck up a relationship with the footballer and after turning him down countless times, eventually gave in to see him.
Sophie, who spoke to The Sun on Sunday said, “while I am sorry their marriage is over, she is definitely better without him.”
“He is a creep. He has cheated on his wife countless times. She has had a lucky escape. He thinks his money gives him so much power he can do anything”, she said.
She also claimed Antonio begged to pay for her flight from Norway to his destination, so the pair could have sex after which he gave her £1,600.
Antonio, who had been linked to several women in the past, with a lot of explicit pictures uncovered in the process, despite being criticised, hit back at his critics telling them he is a single man whose marriage was over anyway.
He explained, “It is important to clarify that my current civil status is single. Over the past months I have not had any formal relationship.”
“As usual, my efforts are focused on my daughter and my professional career”, he said.
