The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the postponement of the three-week Batch A Orientation program.
The Orientation program which the NYSC earlier scheduled to start on March 30 has therefore been shifted further till April 27, 2016.
Confirming the change in scheduled plans, the NYSC’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs. Abosede Aderibigbe said “We wish to confirm the shift in date for the commencement of the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Orientation course,” however, she failed to provide any reason behind the change in plans.
The NYSC’s Spokesperson apologied for any inconveniences the shift might have caused prospective Corps members.
The schedule of the new time-table for the orientation program is as follows:
Stream I
Commencement: Wednesday, 27th April, 2016
Swearing-in ceremony: Friday, 29th April, 2016,
Close of Camp: Friday, 13th May, 2016
Stream II
Commencement: Saturday, 21st May, 2016
Swearing-in ceremony: Monday, 23rd May, 2016
Close of Camp: Monday, 6th June, 2016.
