Obama Educates Trump On Black-American History

The incumbent President of United State of America, Barack Obama, has criticized Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, for describing the US black community as being in the worst shape ever.

Obama claimed that even eight-year-olds are intelligent enough to know that slavery was very bad for the black community.

“I think even most 8-year-olds will tell you that whole slavery thing wasn’t very good for black people.”

Obama told ABC News in an interview that aired Friday on ‘Good Morning America’ that “Jim Crow wasn’t very good for black people. What we have to do is use our history to propel us to make even more progress in the future.”

The shootings of African-American men in Oklahoma and North California by police have forced the campaign of the two presidential candidates to speak up on the security of life of black community.

While speaking on Tuesday in Kenansville before a white dominated audience in North Carolina, Trump spoke of the need to “rebuild our inner cities.”

“Our African-American communities are absolutely in the worst shape that they’ve ever been in before. Ever. Ever. Ever,” Trump said.

The speech was aimed at swinging the votes of African-American and to persuade some white voters who see Trump’s campaign as being racist oriented.

However, Trump’s strategy was criticized by Obama who noted that “I was pretty confident about where I was born, I think most people were as well. My hope would be the presidential election reflects more serious issues than that.”

While also speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus gala last week Saturday, Obama used the opportunity to urge the black community to make sure that his legacy is sustained by voting for Hilary Clinton.

He made a more earnest effort to rebut Trump when he spoke at the Congressional Black Caucus gala on Saturday, and said that he would consider it a “personal insult” to his legacy if black voters didn’t turn out for Clinton.

“If I hear anybody saying their vote does not matter, that it doesn’t matter who we elect – read up on your history. It matters. We’ve got to get people to vote,” Obama said.

“I will consider it a personal insult – an insult to my legacy – if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good sendoff? Go vote.”

During the gala, Obama also criticized Trump for using embellished terms when talking about African-Americans.

He proposed that Trump should visit Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture in order to understand the black history.

“You may have heard Hillary’s opponent in this election say that there’s never been a worse time to be a black person. I mean, he missed that whole civics lesson about slavery or Jim Crow,” Obama Fused.

“But we’ve got a museum for him to visit, so he can tune in. We will educate him.”
