Obaseki Promises 200,000 jobs In Edo If Elected

The governorship candidate for the APC in Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has promised to provide 200,000 jobs in the state if elected in September.

He made this declaration while launching his campaign at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday in Benin.

Obaseki promised that if elected he would make Edo state an agricultural hub in Nigeria. He said this while stating that the majority of the jobs created would be in the Agricultural sector and skills acquisition.

He also promised that if elected his three major areas of focus would be  job creation, entrepreneurship, and industrialisation.

He didn’t leave the women out in his promise making stating that women empowerment was high on his priority list and that some of the entrepreneurial training would be tailored just for them.

Obaseki was recently in America where he also campaigned to the indigenes of Edo state living in Atlanta.
