Chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana has reacted to the shooting incident that occurred at his popular Club Cubana in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Recall that police escorts attached to Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy allegedly shot at two fun seekers, Lawrence Irebami and Tolu on Wednesday, June 8.

This reportedly occurred after the musician made a pass at the wife of one of the victims inside the club.

The issue which went viral at the time resurfaced on social media after the lady involved shared her side of the story.

She queried why Obi Cubana only reached out to them four days after the incident and had yet to release a CCTV footage or press statement on the issue.

In his reaction, Obi Cubana said that the club had cooperated with the security agencies to handle the matter.

“As regards the issues making rounds the social media, we at Cubana Group have given all information at our disposal to the legal authorities.

“However, we wholeheartedly sympathise with any/all those who may have been impacted by this. I and our group would never compromise standards, as we have confidence in the authorities to handle all. Best regards,” he said in a statement.
