Offset denies Saweetie affair rumours, opens up on Cardi B split and personal growth

American rapper Kiari Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has addressed long-standing rumours linking him to fellow rapper Saweetie, calling the allegations false and unnecessary.

Speaking on a podcast with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset described the cheating rumours as “strange and baseless,” adding that the speculation surrounding Saweetie was “just weird.”

The former Migos member also reflected on his split from Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, admitting that his mistakes contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.

“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset confessed, acknowledging that infidelity and poor decisions took a toll on their relationship. Despite their separation, he expressed continued respect for Cardi B, referring to her as “bro,” and clarified that their divorce has not yet been finalized.

Offset further discussed the grief he has faced following the tragic death of his cousin and Migos bandmate, Takeoff, in 2022. Determined to improve himself, he said he is focused on self-growth and healing.

“I’m focused on becoming a better man now,” he said, adding that therapy and faith have helped him overcome addiction and find inner peace.
