TRAGIC: Ogun State Chairman-Nominee Dies Few Hours To Screening

Saibu Adeosun Mulero, the Chairman-nominee for the caretaker committee in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State,  died just a few hours to his screening by the State House of Assembly on Wednesday.

Speaking on the tragic incident, sources from the family members of the deceased disclosed that he was set for the screening but decided to take a short nap and unfortunately never woke up from it.

The Chief Press secretary to the governor, on behalf of Ogun State Government, released a condolence statement, stating that the death was shocking to the entire state.

The deceased was one of the Chairmen-nominees of the 20 local government transition committees in Ogun State which were selected by Governor Dapo Abiodun last week.

“He was such a diligent and resourceful grassroots politician whose skills and astuteness would have helped the people of Ippkia move to a higher level of development.

 

“He will surely be missed by the party, APC, the good people of Ipokia LGA that he had plans to lead and the Dapo Abiodun administration would miss his envisaged contributions to our model of inclusive and participatory governance, which he was a disciple of.

 

“Governor Dapo Abiodun prays that the good Lord will comfort his immediate family and grant his soul eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaous.”
