The death of OJB Jezreel has shocked many as some had thought he’d be able to soldier on and go on to live well, but it was not to be as the cold hands of death snatched him away yesterday.
The producer’s death was made even sadder as it was revealed he was due for a windfall just before his death.
According to theNetng, some friends of the Producer intimated that OJB had just about sold one of his houses in Surulere for N50m to an unnamed bank and the money was to be used for another operation.
According to theNetng, one of his friends said, ‘You know he’s been saving money to go for another surgery that would gulp close to $150,000 and he didn’t want it to go public, so the plan was to sell the house. As a matter of fact we would have sold the house about three weeks back but a document was missing. Now we have the document and they were supposed to come and make the payment at 4pm today but Baba don die’
Corroborating what the first friend had said, another added, ‘Baba just wanted to sell the house and travel abroad, then when he returns he wanted to relocate to his other house in Abuja. Now we are all sad because we all had commissions from the sale of the house, but God knows best’.
