Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has declared that he will emerge as the winner of the 2015 presidential election. He made this statement at the All Progressive Congress, APC Rally in Enugu yesterday.
Governor Okorocha said “three months ago when I said I want to be president they asked, Can an Igbo man be president? But now when they count those contesting for president they will first count Rochas Okorocha, before Buhari, Atiku Abubakar and Kwankwaso. When they said they have zoned the presidency to the North, I asked, when was the meeting held? Now we have zoned it to Igboland. In 2015, there will be a turnaround in the fortunes of Ndigbo.”
He also said that the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has failed God, for sixteen years, they have nothing to show.
Rochas Okorocha formed the Action Alliance party in 2005 planning to become the presidential candidate in the 2007 elections. He later returned to the PDP, but in 2013, he led the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA faction and decamped to APC.
