Ooni Of Ife Loses 104-year-old Grandma (Photo)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has lost his paternal grandmother, Madam Mariani Ogunwusi, who passed on to the great beyond at the age of 104.

The centenarian, popularly called Mama Alaso, was the wife of Pa Joseph Olaobaju Ogunwusi, Ooni’s grandfather.

She died 18 years after the death of her husband, but not before witnessing the coronation of her grandson as the 51^st Ooni on October 25^th, 2015.
