Ooni declares Spiritual Lockdown in the land of Ife

One of the most prominent traditional rulers, Ooni, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has declared a spiritual lockdown in the land of Ife to spiritually combat COVID-19 Pandemic.

Ooni of Ife who issued the notice on Thursday commanded Ife residents to stay in their homes, as spiritual leaders would be performing rituals popularly called “oro” to cleanse the land of the deadly virus.

This was contained in a statement written in the indigenous Yoruba language.
