Musical artiste, Oritse Femi was reportedly assaulted by Bouncers at Quilox Nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to reports, the incident took place on Friday 11th of November 2016, while he was trying to stand for an older colleague and friend.
According to his account, Sound Sultan and Rocksteady were restricted from having access to the VIP section of the club.

Oritse Femi who was already in the VIP section was not happy with the way his colleagues were treated and tried to intercede for the stars, explaining that they were A-list artistes and should be allowed to enter.

His request was however denied and he was advised to join the regular section since he was keen on hanging out with his colleagues.

At his attempt to leave the VIP section, he was pushed back and rough handled by the bouncer.

In an act of defence, Oritse Femi who was holding a wine cup, smashed it against the bouncer.

This left a scar on the face of the bouncer, forming the genesis of the violent uproar at the nightclub.
Oritse Femi was attacked and beaten by other bouncers in the club, and it was in the process of the attack that his jewellery worth about N8.5 million was allegedly stolen by the club bouncers.

On the arrival of the Police, Oritse Femi and the bouncer were arrested.

The IPO in charge of the case ordered him to pay for the treatment of the scared Bouncer and also ordered that Femi’s jewellery be returned.
