While at an event at Muson center, police stormed the place and hauled off former manager of popular singer Oritsefemi, Yusuf Adepitan, also known as Danku.
According to the NET, the event was the comedy concert Pencil Unbroken. While on the red carpet, police came over and arrested Danku and sources within the industry say Oritsefemi was behind it.
According to the NET, an eyewitness said, “It was like a Hollywood movie, they just stormed the red carpet and whisked him away”
It was further stated, ‘After months of hide and seek, the long arm of the law caught up with Danku last night and he had no hiding place. He was picked up by officers of the Nigerian Police force at the Muson centre on the red carpet of Pencil Unbroken event for theft, conspiracy and impersonation’.
Things deteriorated between Oritsefemi and manager in 2014 when the singer alleged that Danku stole money from him and also claimed ownership of his MSN record label. In January, the 31-year-old singer threatened to arrest Danku and his mother for conspiring against him and making threats to his life.
It seems he has now made good on that threat. It has been gathered that Danku was taken to Zone 2, Police command in Onikan, Lagos.
