‘Oshiomhole Tutored Me On Politics’–Edo Deputy Governor, Shaibu, Reveals

Edo state Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has pointed to former Governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole, as his political coach.

The Deputy Governor stated this on Sunday, while attending a Thanksgiving Service at St. Philip Catholic Church, Jettu, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

‘Adams Oshiomole taught me everything I know about politics,’ Shaibu declared.

‘I have no qualms with him as he was the one who stood me firmly on the ground and assisted the state in eradicating godfatherism,” he pointed out.

On Governor Obaseki’s reelection, Shaibu beckoned on all parties to embrace unity and move on from political divides so that the state could move forward.

Shaibu described the current Governor, Godwin Obaseki, as selfless in nature and one who only thinks about the well being of the state and the generations to come.

In terms of governance, he declared that “the wisdom of Governor Obaseki has reigned supreme.”

Shaibu ended by assuring residents of the state that the Obaseki administration is doing everything possible to fulfill its many promises issued to the people during the election campaign.
