Osinbajo Gives Fresh Orders To Oil Companies

The Acting Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has directed Oil companies in Nigeria to relocate their headquarters to Niger Delta.

The new directive ordered by the Acting Vice President was given at a Town Hall meeting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Thursday while he was on a visit to the oil-rich region.

The Acting Vice President noted that the move is in line with bringing peace to the Niger-Delta region.

The Petroleum Minister, Ibe Kachikwu has been directed by the Acting Vice President to facilitate the process of helping the oil companies set up their offices n the region.

Acting President Osinbajo noted: “I think it is the right thing to do.”
