A former Aviation Minister in the country, Femi Fami-Kayode has slammed the Presidency and the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo for lying to Nigerians regarding the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari’s health.
The reaction from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain comes following the journey of the Acting President to the United Kingdom to visit the Nigerian President who left the country for medical reasons since May 7, 2017.
The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo had following his trip announced to Nigerians that the President was “recuperating fast” and will return home “very soon”.
Femi Fani-Kayode however in reaction to the claim took to his social media page to write: “@MBuhari is NOT better and he will NEVER return as President.His situation is pathetic and critical.@ProfOsinbajo STOP the lies!”
He added: “Nigerians have a RIGHT to know the truth. Stop the cover up and show us our President! Put him in front of a camera and let him talk!”
