Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Media and Publicity has debunked allegations that his boss’s daughter is marrying a Muslim.
Akande made the clarification via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Oludamilola Osinbajo, better known as Kiki, is betrothed to Oluseun Bakare and the wedding is set for March 15th to 17th, 2018.
Oluseun is the son of billionaire businesswoman, Hajia Bola Shagaya.
Many had immediately assumed that Oluseun is a Muslim like his mum.
However, Akande debunked the assumption, stating that Oluseun is a Christian who attends The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and is also a teenage church pastor there.
