A Singapore housewife got the fright of her life when she was bitten by a python hiding in her toilet bowl.

Noraslinda Asat was terrifyingly attacked by the 6-foot long serpent after sitting down in her master bedroom’s bathroom last month.

The 34-year-old reportedly felt a “sharp pain” — which she soon discovered was coming from the fangs of the snake that had clamped on to her right thigh.

She grabbed her attacker — which was as thick as a human’s forearm — and ripped its mouth from her leg.

Dumping the creature on the floor, she then scuttled out of the bathroom and shut the door.

Asat was rushed to hospital for treatment but discharged soon after.

AsiaOne reports that animal control officers later attended the home to try and catch the critter, but were unsuccessful.

They think the snake dove back into the bowl and slithered away.

With the beast still on the loose, Asat said she is now scared to use either of her home’s two toilets.

Bricks are now permanently placed on each of their lids, and the bite victim has taken to visiting gas stations and cafes when she needs to relieve herself.

“I still feel very scared, because the snake has not been caught,” she told AsiaOne.
