The police in Kaduna State have uncovered a bungalow harbouring no fewer than 300 children, chained on the legs and starving.
Some of them are between the age of five and ten, TVC News has reported.
The big surprise was that they were chained, possibly to ensure that they do not escape.
According to the report, the people manning the house of horror claim it’s an Islamic rehabilitation centre.
The detained were forced to fast, and that they were being sexually abused.
The police suspected that the children may be undergoing some form of indoctrination.
All of them have been moved, the report said.
According to the police, the victims are from Burkina Faso, Mali and other African countries.
The adults amongst them were subjected to daily recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers, allegedly accompanied with torture.
TVC did not state whether the minders of the abused and starving children have been arrested.
