The Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of nominees for the position of chairman and members of the Oyo State Security Trust Fund Board of Trustees.
The assembly led by the Speaker, Mr Michael Adeyemo, confirmed the appointment of the nominees at plenary on Thursday.
Members of house unanimously gave their consent to the confirmation.
The speaker said the board would assist the state government in addressing security issues in the state.
Those confirmed included a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Chief Adebayo Adedibu, Chairman; and Mr Femi Oyedipe, Executive Secretary.
Also confirmed were the Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadan land, Chief Abiodun Kola Daisi, Dr Ayo Abina, Mr Femi Odumabo, Dr Azeez Adeduntan, Mr Vickram Gursatianety and Dr Adesola Adeduntan, who are all members of the board. (NAN)
