Former Girona manager, Pablo Machin, who led his former club to a 10th position finish in La Liga has now been appointed to be the new head coach at Sevilla.
A club statement said, “Pablo Machin will be the new manager of Sevilla FC. The club has reached an agreement for the next two seasons, with the coach joining after three and a half years of success at Girona FC.”
“He joined Girona at the end of the 2013/14 season to save them from
relegation and eventually achieved both promotion to the Primera División and consolidation with the elite.”
Paul Machin helped Girona’s promotion from the Segunda Division for the first time ever before he got his new job at Sevilla.
