Padita Agu, a Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Abuja and a known face in Nollywood, has expressed her excitement after being gifted the sum of N500,000 from someone she barely knows.
The actress, who said she got the credit alert of the money on her birthday, was super excited, as she explained that she has only met the person who gifted her the cash once.
She said, “Someone called me and wished me a happy Birthday, asked how am celebrating it and I said am waiting on who would throw a party or dinner for me.”
“He asked how much and I jokingly said I will manage half a million, he called back and asked for my account details. Lo and behold, I got the transfer to the tune of N500,000.”
“Trust me, I have only met this person once. If I run into him now I won’t recognize him. He has never asked me out or shown interest in that regard. I am in awe of this act and many other blessings around me. It is really happening to me.”
