Paul Okoye Accuses Twin Brother Peter Okoye of Song Theft

1 Min Read

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has publicly accused his twin brother and former PSquare bandmate, Peter Okoye (Mr. P), of allegedly stealing one of his songs.

Rudeboy claimed on Instagram that he wrote and recorded the song “Winning” with a producer, who then gave it to Mr. P without his consent.

“Song title: Winning. Written and sang by Rudeboy. Produced by same producer,” Rudeboy wrote.

He expressed frustration, questioning why his brother would record the song word-for-word, and threatened to release the original version of any replicated songs.

“The days of manipulation are over!! And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version,” Rudeboy stated.

This accusation comes after PSquare’s third breakup earlier this year.
