PDP ahead as INEC announces Karu, Masaka election results in Nasarawa

The People’s Democratic Party ((PDP), has won the governorship and state house of assembly elections across polling units in Karu and Masaka Registration Areas in Nasarawa state.
At polling unit 006, Karu ward, the results, as announced by the Presiding Officer, Miss Precious Sambo, were as follows:
No. of Registered Voters: 9332
Accredited Voters: 1685
Unused Ballot: 7037
Rejected : 32
Total valid votes: 1630
Total number of used ballots: 1675

PDP: 835
APC: 513
Governorship
PDP: 859
APC: 556
APGA: 141
SDP: 49
At the polling unit 005 in Jeun Primary school, Masaka, the results as announced by the presiding officer, Mr Bob Omale are as follows:

Number of accredited Voters: 896
House of Assembly:
APC: 164
APGA: 67
SDP: 19
PDP: 623
Others: 13
Invalid: 10
Valid Votes: 886
Governorship:
APC: 114
PDP: 649
APGA: 79
SDP: 25
