PDP appoints Ekweremadu Ondo guber primary chair

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, as the Chairman of the LGA Congresses Electoral Committee for the Ondo State gubernatorial primaries of the party.

The party disclosed this in a Monday night statement signed by its National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd).

The statement read, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the LGA CONGRESSES ELECTORAL COMMITTEE.

The Committee is mandated to elect (1) National Delegate and (1) Persons Living with Disability in each of the 18 LGAs for the upcoming 2020 Governoship Election in Ondo State.

COMPOSITION:

1. Sen. Ike Ekweremadu (Chairman)
2. Princess Dr. Bolanle Ogundiran (Member)
3. Alh. Akhor Idoko (Member)
4. Sen. Obinna Ogba (Member)
5. Alh. Aminu Salihu Yakudima (Secretary)”.

According to the statement, the exercise is scheduled for Wednesday July 15, 2020, in each LGA of the State.
