National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus will remain in his post until the party’s national convention holds.

This is as Chairman of the forum and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal stated today after a closed-door meeting of party stakeholders in Abuja that internal wranglings in the party have been settled.

However, he said that the National Convention will hold before the end of October.

Tambuwal added that the party stakeholders have resolved their issues and agreed to work together as one united family.

Recall that some party bigwigs had been demanding the ouster of Secondus, accusing him of incompetence in handling the party’s affairs.

The Tuesday meeting that saved Secondus was a continuation from Monday, as 13 state governors elected on the platform of the party, members of the national assembly, former ministers, former senate presidents, former governors, and other party stakeholders converged to chart a way out of the crisis.
